Hail. The Mechanism of Formation

In contrast to a known theory first is advanced a new hypothesis on the mechanism of formation of hail and is predicted that the cause of the formation of hail is to generate instant and huge amounts of heat from lightning in cumulonimbus clouds. This formed powerful heat leads to a strong evaporation of water in the channel lightning discharge and around it. Strong evaporation of water is occurring with its faster cooling and ice formation, accordingly. The process does not demand necessity of transition of the zero isotherm atmospheres having a negative temperature and can easily occur at both low and warm layers of the troposphere. The process is substantially similar to the adiabatic process, as it is derived the thermal energy is not introduced into the system, and it comes from the system. Ismayilov Sohrab Ahmad was born in 1950 in Galinchak village of Ismayilli dictrict of Azerbaijan. In 1973 he graduated from the Faculty of Chemistry with honors of the APU. In the same year he entered to the IPP ANAS in graduate school. In 1992 he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation at the IOC USC RAS.
