The book presents real, captivating, honest, heartfelt stories of teachers dedicated to service. They are advocates for change, striving for equity, quality and access to education. The reader is presented with a riveting account of their shared teaching experiences in the postcolonial context. It provides an inside look into classrooms once colonized by the British. Postcolonial agency is the driving force behind their philosophy, as they attempt to position themselves in defining for whom and for what is education.

I am an advocate for the right to be educated. I believe "education is not a privilege but a right." A classroom teacher for 9 years and a teacher educator for 12 years, education is my sole passion.
